S/V Ripple

Our next adventure around the British Virgin Islands starts in:

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, Ripple is temporarily receiving limited visitors. I have now had both of my Pfizer Covid-19 shots and preference will be given to charters where all crew/passengers have had the Covid-19 vaccine shots. As there is limited space and ventilation inside a sailboat, there is no chance of maintaining safe distances between people, therefore masks are required whenever visitors are below decks. Above deck, I am comfortable with letting the wind keep our personal breathing air space safe and clean.

Interior view

S/V Ripple, a Beneteau Oceanis 373, is a 37′ sloop rigged sailboat, built in 2006 and sailed on Lake Travis all of her life.

Ripple is an ocean ready sailing vessel (S/V) equipped with:
All required safety equipment including a selection of life vests in various sizes – children under 13 years of age must wear life preservers at all times when underway
A full galley (two burner stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, and freezer)
Indoor and outdoor showers
104 gallons of hot and cold potable running water
Two staterooms
Propane BBQ grill
Air conditioning and heating at the dock
A head (that’s sailor talk for a bathroom!)
Roller furling sails for easy handling.

With ample decks she can handle four passengers with ease, up to six passengers a bit cozily.

Aboard Ripple, you are welcome to kick back, relax, and simply enjoy the beauty that is sailing a Beneteau on Lake Travis, flame a few burgers on the grill, “go jump in the lake” for a refreshing swim, or simply relax on deck in the sun or in the shaded cockpit seating.  You may participate in the sailing experience at whatever your comfort level may be.
