S/V Ripple

The next SailRipple adventure will be in the British Virgin Islands. If you are interested in creating a sailing or sailing/diving adventure of your own, please send me a note via the contact form and we can design an adventure specifically for you and your friends/family!

Unless I’m off on one of my adventures, I am usually available on Ripple here on Lake Travis. Let me know if you are interested in a day on the beautiful waters of Lake Travis, here in the Central Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, Texas.

S/V Ripple, a Beneteau Oceanis 373, is a 37′ sloop rigged sailboat, built in 2006 and sailed on Lake Travis all of her life.

Ripple is an ocean ready sailing vessel (S/V) equipped with:
All required safety equipment including a selection of life vests in various sizes – children under 13 years of age must wear life preservers at all times when underway
A full galley (two burner stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, and freezer)
Indoor and outdoor heated showers
104 gallons of hot and cold potable running water
Two staterooms
Propane BBQ grill
Air conditioning and heating at the dock
One head (that’s sailor talk for a bathroom!)
Roller furling sails for easy handling.

With ample decks she can handle four crew/passengers with ease, and up to six crew/passengers a bit cozily.

Aboard Ripple, you are welcome to kick back, relax, and simply enjoy the beauty that is sailing a Beneteau on Lake Travis, flame a few burgers on the grill, “go jump in the lake” for a refreshing swim, or simply relax on deck in the sun or in the shaded cockpit seating.  You may participate in the sailing experience at whatever your comfort level may be.
